Aes Ambelis Omiros (Maratheftiko)

Aes Ambelis Omiros is the product of a long and painstaking effort in the vineyard and the winery to fully express the rich aromatic and flavor potential of the rare, recently rediscovered, indigenous variety Maratheftiko. Omiros is aged in French oak barrels for eight months and subsequently in the bottle for a year. A full-bodied and balanced wine, with a silky character dominated by the rich aromas and flavors of red fruit, dry figs and walnuts, that leads to long lasting aromatic aftertaste.
